After five years of serving as an Adopt-A-School partner with Westlawn Middle School, the Geological Survey of Alabama is very pleased to serve as a partner again this 2006/2007 school year. The State Geologist and Staff are committed to having a Very Involved Partnership through the sponsorship of a variety of educational activities that will include:

● Earth Science Week Activity
● Classroom Speakers
● Participation in the Read-A-Thon
● Honoring the achievements of students
● Teacher Appreciation
● Parent Appreciation
● Career Exploration Activities
● Adopt-A-School Week Activities
● Character Education Activities
